The North Face
3 Layer Gore-tex Search & Rescue Jacket

I received this jacket back in winter 1998. It was not available to the public back then, but only to TNF SAR team members. It has Kevlar reinforcement shoulders and sides, meant for rugged climbs. The jacket has been was worn on 6 alpine climbs, but is still in pretty good condition. It has a very small tear on the right forearm sleeve, but was fixed with a Gore-tex repair kit.

Honestly, I believe this old jacket is of better quality than the TNF jackets made today.SPECS:Size: Men’s SmallColor: TNF Red and Black w/ Grey Kevlar shoulder and sides.

Over the years we’ve seen the Cobra climb M11. We’ve seen it take home two World Cups. We’ve seen it on Czech Direct and on the West Face of Cerro Torre. It’s proven itself time and again to be the most versatile high-end tool around. And no wonder—its unique design and construction still rock the house. With a carbon fiber shaft that is light and damp, you can swing this tool with less effort and get bomber placements on the first go. The high clearance lets you clear bulges and quickly move through pocked out sections.
